Established in the 1970s, Filer Sports Recreation is the dedicated recreation department for the City of Filer, operating as a non-profit government entity in the community recreation industry. Our mission is to enrich the lives of our community members through diverse, inclusive, and accessible recreational programs. We pride ourselves on fostering community involvement and providing a wide range of activities and facilities for all ages and interests.
Our offerings include youth and adult sports programs, swim lessons at our community pool, and the potential for future swim teams. We also provide pavilion rentals for events, as well as tennis and pickleball courts, basketball hoops, and batting cages. Our facilities are complemented by well-maintained restrooms, playgrounds, soccer fields, and baseball fields, ensuring that everyone in the community can find something enjoyable and engaging to do at Filer Sports Recreation.
